The Poltronova brand was founded by Andrea Branzi in Tuscany in 1960. Its artistic directors Ettore Sottsass and Paolo Portoghesi and other designers constantly combined the contradictions and opposites of the mind as the source of creativity, designed one innovative work after another and determined the design style of the Poltronova brand: radical, forward-looking and emotional based on reality.
